Moving your phone system to 3CX, what changes

Moving from a traditional phone system to a cloud platform like 3CX is one of the easiest wins in IT. You keep your numbers, you cut your line rental, and your team can take calls anywhere.

The biggest change is that your phone is now an app as much as a handset. Softphones on the laptop and mobile apps mean a call to the office can ring wherever you are, which is the whole point for hybrid teams.

Set up is mostly about call flow: who rings first, what happens out of hours, how voicemail reaches you. We map that with you before we port the numbers, so nothing drops on the day of the switch.

Once it is live, the running costs are lower and the flexibility is much higher. Adding a new starter is a couple of clicks, not an engineer visit.
